Products and Ingredients to Avoid
Human cognitive supplements often contain additives that are unsuitable for dogs, or their safety and appropriate dosage in dogs have not been sufficiently verified. Even with the same ingredients, the suitable formulation and concentration can differ between humans and dogs. Products with unlisted concentrations, ingredients of unknown origin, or standalone supplementation of fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamins A and D) exceeding recommended amounts can actually be harmful. Always consult your veterinarian before starting any new supplement.

If Your Dog Is a Senior Over 7 Years Old, Check This Now
Even if your pet shows no signs of cognitive dysfunction, starting preventive nutritional care around age seven is a great idea. The earlier you begin, the more effectively you can slow the progression compared to waiting until symptoms appear. At your next wellness checkup, ask your veterinarian about nutritional supplements for cognitive health.
