Feline endocrine hypertension is a form of high blood pressure caused by hormonal imbalances. Because it carries a significant risk of organ damage, early detection and systematic management are essential. We’ve compiled an easy-to-understand overview of effective management products and the criteria for choosing them.

The first-line drug for feline hypertension is amlodipine, and telmisartan (ARB) is used alone or as an add-on drug. Supplements do not replace drug treatment, and all products should be used after consultation with and prescription by a veterinarian. Drug interactions are possible.
Precautions and Contraindications
Do not administer feline endocrine hypertension management products without a veterinarian’s prescription. In particular, cats with pre-existing kidney dysfunction may experience adverse effects.
