Caution: Immediate Veterinary Visit Is Essential If Urethral Obstruction Recurs
Urethral obstruction in cats carries a very high risk of recurrence. If your cat repeatedly fails to urinate or shows signs of pain during elimination, seek veterinary care immediately. Urethral obstruction is the most common cause of acute kidney injury in cats and constitutes a life-threatening emergency; therefore, any inability to urinate requires prompt medical attention. While management products can serve as supportive aids, they can never replace emergency treatment.
