Caution: Immediate Vet Visit Required If Your Dog Ingests Objects
If your dog has ingested electrical cords, outlets, or chemical products, it’s best to visit the vet immediately. However, not all cases are life-threatening, and the appropriate response may vary depending on the toxicity of the substance, the amount consumed, and whether symptoms are present. If there are no symptoms and the ingested material is non-toxic, simply monitoring your pet may be sufficient. But if you’re unsure, it’s always safest to consult with a veterinarian right away.
